Special Lavender Night Fundraiser
It’s hard to ignore the devastation and heartbreak currently being experienced by innocent citizens fleeing their homes in Ukraine right now. At least 2 million people have fled their homes to escape the conflict.
Heavy fighting, shelling and air strikes across the country have had devastating consequences for ordinary people. Homes have been destroyed. Families have been separated. Lives have been lost.
At Ukraine’s borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova, huge numbers of people are arriving with only what they can carry.
DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.
We would like to donate all tickets sales from a special Lavender Night to be held on 8 April to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal to help Ukrainian refugees.
£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month.
£50 could provide vital blankets for four families and £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month.
If the event sells out we could help so many people.
£25 per person with spaces limited to 12
Donation buckets will be placed in reception from 4th April for anyone wishing to contribute who can’t make it on the night.
Thank you
A little more about the event:
Our unique Lavender Nights allow you to deeply relax and de-stress. An excellent introduction for anyone who wants to learn how to meditate and relax.
Whilst bathed in candlelight and wrapped in a soft warm blanket, you will be guided through a meditation journey and experience slow scalp massage techniques and gentle pressure point releases from two of our experienced therapists using the aromas of lavender, ylang ylang, and camomile to help reduce tension. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a long day.
